Positive: The property was clean and well tended, the views were beautiful, the breakfast consisted of of a variety of excellent pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice and eggs on request, a feast for royalty. Above all Antonella, the hostess was caring, pleasant to deal with and extremely helpful. She even drove us to the train station in Cortona when our car rental went awry.

Positive: Beautiful property with incredible garden, pool and several fruit trees and a breathtaking landscape. View from the room window was the best we’ve had so far. Great breakfast served by lovely Antonella who is an incredible host.
Negative: Personally I didn’t find the bed comfortable, mattress was old and the topper wasn’t doing it any favours. Room really basic but that wasn’t a problem if the bed was comfortable.

Positive: Location was secluded, quiet, and just absolutely peaceful. The pool was nice and cold, and the staff were just a delight. Unfortunately, we weren't able to stay for breakfast since we were in a rush, but we've already made plans to come back in the future to just stay here for a few days.
Negative: The only problem we had was the A/C not working in the room, however everything else made up for it. The only other thing I wish was different was I wish we had spent more time here.
Summary: Nestled in the Tuscan countryside, this prime piece of paradise makes for the greatest getaway.

Positive: Truly exceptional! From start to finish, we loved our stay at San Francesco. Antonella is such a warm and welcoming host and the whole property is charming, cosy, comfortable. She went above and beyond to cater to my dietaries, and the expansive breakfast spread in the morning was a highlight including home baked goods. Cortona is nearby, and Antonella provided a map and wonderful recommendations. The room is superb - comfy bed, extremely clean, smartTV included. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool due to weather, but it looked very inviting! Couldn’t recommend San Francesco more - a highlight of our Tuscany trip.
